I wish I could spend more time with each bush. When shooting, the compositions seemed straight-forward and somewhat redundant. All the flowers were fairly uniformly round and facing the same direction.
Reviewing these now, I can appreciate the variations that exist within this sort of tight set of constraints.
Going forward, I want to be able to more readily tap into what is remarkable about subject, actually appreciate it for what it is, and engage with it on that level.
In sum, I feel like I skimmed the surface of this bush, and missed out on going a lot deeper.
