These cover compositions with two or three elements.

- The strongest have pronounced cast shadow / depth. In one case it is cross-lighting, in the other it is more forward lighting with more pronounced stacking of elements. There is also at least one element with a strong sense of direction.

- The other images are fairly flat and static - elements abut one another and they have no strong sense of direction. There is objects with juxtaposition of elements, but they don’t form anything coherent or greater than the sum of the parts.

To improve it, possibilities are:

* Identifying the most active or focal element, and trying to great a more immersive perspective and lighting setup with respect to that element.

* There is not a lot of space to establish direction and hence movement, so the movement is sort of abrupt and very short when present. Presumably wider shots would address this, but negative space and coherence are obstacles as the image widens.

That said - I would generally seek wider shots with three-elements presuming coherence can be maintained.

* Build on what you did effectively: depth and directional lighting.
