- Building macro shots around accessories, when uncommon structures are present, can result in strong images.
Having a clear and complete focal and including other details to strengthening that makes more sense than a simple collision of juxtaposing elements. This was an issue for two of the images - and it is similar to problem of multiple flows of motion in conflict.
The issue here is having clearer focal points, and building around that. When the focal point in not sufficiently compelling, including more stuff is not necessarily a solution.
Also notable: small and simple juxtapositions when uncommon can make strong images in themselves, e.g. the two types of petals.
These series represent identifying interesting subjects, but not effectively pin-pointing focal areas and building around them.
